The American Red Cross Health Fairs are an easy and inexpensive way for you to keep an eye on your health. Health Fair tests involve a blood draw which is used to analyze for things such as cholesterol levels and ratios, lipid and glucose levels, thyroid and liver function and more. For men, a Prostate Cancer Screen (PSA) is available. In addition, other services such as glaucoma screening, take-home colon cancer tests and more are offered periodically. Health Fairs are scheduled in the Shreveport/Bossier area quarterly, with an additional site in Ruston. If you would like more information about upcoming Health Fairs, Contact Us and let us know.
Cost: $35.00 for an overall profile, $45.00 for the overall profile plus the Prostate Cancer Screen (men only)

During flu season, the American Red Cross offers flu and pneumonia shots at clinics across the area, usually beginning in September or October. All sites will be subject to vaccine availability.
At these clinics, flu shots are FREE to Medicare Part B recipients or $25 for all others. You must bring your Medicare Part B card with you to receive the shot for free. Pneumonia shots will continue to be available year-round at the Health Fairs for FREE to Medicare Part B recipients or $30 for all others.
