Lifeguard and Water Safety instructor (WSI) trainings are an important part of the American Red Cross Aquatics program. The Red Cross trains individuals for these positions annually through July.
Lifeguard applicants must be at least 15 years of age by the end of the class,
WSI applicants must be 17 years of age.
